About REXFEST

Rexfest started in 2024 as a tribute to Rex Everett, who ran the Basingstoke Blues Club for over 30 years. After a very successful & enjoyable event, we’ve turned it into an annual fundraiser, raising money for Athsma + Lung UK in Rex’s memory. Last years event raised over £3,500!

The event is indoors in a seated theatre, capacity approx. 120. We provide a backline for the day & request that drummers use the provided kit with their own breakables to keep changeovers quick / simple. Guitarists are welcome to bring their own amp, or use the provided one if they wish.

The event is all day, so it’s possible for bands to be on in the afternoon to allow for other gigs in the evening.
